How to deal with coop wet

In winter, temperature is low, and high humidity inside the coop, it is harmful for growth and egg production of chickens, you should take the following eight kinds of methods to prevent sheds moisture:

1.plant selection must be reasonable.please choose the land with high altitude,dry,convenient to drainage, quiet environment,good ventilation to build coops.coops should be facing south,it is good for keeping warm and protection against the tide.

2.Suitable ventilation should be strengthened.low temperature in winter, you should control the ventilation,generally, temperature is lower than 15℃,wind surrounding the chickens should not exceed 0.1 to 0.2 meter per second,and pay attention to the wind, in the premise of appropriate amount of ventilation, solve the contradiction between the ventilation and insulation.

3.Maintain appropriate stocking density.density is too high, chickens are crowded, not good for protection against the tide，especially pay attention to density of the chickens fed on the flat ground,

4.Prevent leakage of water appliance Clean the water on the coop ground.if find water appliance is leaking,close or replace it according to the situation.clean and dry the leaking water on the coop ground,cleaning the unfavorable factors of formation of water vapor.

5. Change the mat grass regularly，clean parts.if raising chickens on the ground, when the mat grass is dirty, please change it in time,if parts are wet,, please remove it.

6. Clean excrement regularly.Remove garbage dirt on the floor, reducing the damp factors in the coops.

7. Improve the environment of coop .Main thing is insulation in winter for coops,temperature should not lower than 12℃,preventing the low temperature and high moisture,if condition is allowed, you can fix heat equipment.

8.Active prevention and treatment.due to the wetness on the ground of chicken coops,causing the bacterial enteritis( Diarrhea , gastrointestinal disorders ) and Viral diseases ( infectious bursal disease , Newcastle disease , bronchitis chicken , chicken coccidia , etc. ),please treat it in time.
